cost effective and affordableOne of the biggest factors when it comes to choosing how to tackle ongoing care is the cost. Featherbed Live in Care compares very favourably with the cost of residential care, while allowing people to remain at home for as long as possible.
For a couple wishing to remain at home together, live in homecare will cost considerably less than two residential care home fees.
Full Time Live in Care from £902 per week incl. VAT
The cost of care depends on the level of personal care required, and the specific costs for any individual will be confirmed following a visit and an assessment by one of our care consultants. We offer the full range of care services, so costs are always determined by your precise needs and requirements.
As an introductory agency, all our carers are self-employed and have full liability insurance. They are responsible for invoicing their clients directly, normally at the end of each week worked.
Featherbed Homecare charges an initial Registration Fee of £100 + VAT and an Assessment Visit Fee of £100 + VAT. Once a carer has been booked with a client, a weekly Agency administration fee is invoiced on a monthly basis and charged to the client or client’s representative.

Home care costs compared to residential care
Choosing to have care at home is often about more than financial considerations, with the value on having one-to-one, personal care offering a much more compassionate and independent experience. However, finances are always a factor when making a decision about the best approach to care.

Our live in care services start from £890 per week, while a bed in a residential care facility generally starts at over £1,000 per week.
