Palliative Care

Offering Comfort & Support when it’s Needed

Palliative care can be a difficult topic to discuss, but we are always available when you need us. We understand how distressing it can be to have to deal with end of life care for yourself or a loved one, and our carers are trained to provide specialist, compassionate care at this time.

Many people would like the choice to remain in their own homes for as long as possible or until the end of their life, making it possible to spend better quality time with friends and family in comfort and familiar surroundings.

What is Palliative Care?

Palliative care, also known as end of life care, is specialised care for people with terminal or serious illnesses, focusing on relief from the stress, symptoms and pain associated with the illness. Essentially, it’s about making someone comfortable at the end of their life.

While this type of care is often associated with hospice, palliative care at home is becoming increasingly popular, as it allows people to remain in the place they feel most comfortable, improving quality of life.
